Car wheels are designed to reduce the dynamic loads on the machine by the roughness of the road

surface, as well as to provide high traction properties of the design of the first solid tires represented a thick

solid rubber ring of rectangular cross section, which is attached to the wheel in the process of vulcanization

of natural rubber. For example, the American manufacturer of ATVs Polaris has launched mass production

of tires for commercial vehicles, which are not afraid of punctures, the Michelin in 2014 to build a plant for

the production of airless radial tire first in the world which have been successfully applied in a variety of off-

road vehicles and agricultural machinery. Combat experience revealed that the wheels with airless tires are

a compromise between the maximum speed of the machine and its ability to continue to move at a landmine

or improvised explosive devices.
