Mission and Strategy of Bratsk State University BrSU sees its mission in forming single scientific and educational space of northern areas of Eastern Siberia and Baikal-Amur Mainline zone. Strategical aim of BrSU development is to raise the quality of training and retraining of innovationally-oriented specialists in demand and scientific teaching staff. Also BrSU is aimed at developing fundamental and applied research in the most important directions of education and science for the north of Irkutsk Oblast and Baikal-Amur Mainline zone. The policy of BrSU development is to reach our strategical aim by means of improvement of the effectiveness of educational process, teaching and methodical work, research activity and educational measures. They all are based on financial and economic stability of BrSU. We realize the comprehensive programme of quality control of BrSU activity and develop of material and technical basis of the University. BrSU permanently improve its staff's qualification and mechanisms of motivation. We create safe and comfortable conditions for education and social development of our students and further the employment of our graduates.
